How To ...
This article is the logical extension from the Inserting Excel Tables in PowerPoint and I'm going to use the same PowerPoint file for this exercise.
- excel-ppt_table.xls - my resulting PowerPoint table file
Open the sample file and go to the last page.
- Use the Select Objects point to draw a selection box around the entire table, backer box, and chart title you created in Inserting Excel Tables to PowerPoint.
- Right click on any of the gray bounding boxes and choose “Save Picture As” from the pop-up menu.
- Change the file type to “Enhanced Windows Metafile”.
- Name the graphic and save it to your desktop.
- Open a Word document and choose “Insert Picture: From File” from the “Insert” drop down menu to insert the graphic you just saved.
- Saving and inserting a chart object works in exactly the same way.
That's it.
